At Laurel United Methodist, we believe that giving comes
in many forms--our time, talents, gifts, service and witness.
No matter who we are or where we are in our lives,
we know we are called to give as an act of holy gratitude.
It is one of the many ways we say 'thank you' to our Creator.
We know that we are called to give but how is up to us
and the ways are as unique as we are. No matter how you choose
to give--whether financially, with your time and skills, or by sharing
the joy you take in our community with others, we are grateful for your giving.

In 2013 Laurel UMC rolled out an electronic giving option for the congregation. Electronic giving allows individuals to make donations on a scheduled, automatic basis—contributions can now be debited automatically from your checking or savings account. Our electronic giving program offers convenience (and no extra costs) for you and much-needed donation consistency for our congregation.
Why consider going electronic?
Electronic contributions will appear both on your bank statements and on your annual giving statements from the church, the same as your non-electronic contributions.
Please contact the church office at (406)628-6362 or via email with any questions or to request a mailed Authorization Form.
Why consider going electronic?
- During this time of crisis, you can be sure your giving is received continually, effectively keeping the church moving forward. And no need to mail a check each week.
- If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes!
- Meaning...It’s easier and more convenient for you: Contributions can now be debited automatically from your checking or savings account - no more scrambling around for the checkbook and offering envelopes on Sunday mornings!
- When travel, illness, or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.
- So...It benefits the church: Seasonal donation slump is reduced, financial forecasting is improved, and planning can proceed with greater confidence.
- It has a positive impact on the environment!
Electronic contributions will appear both on your bank statements and on your annual giving statements from the church, the same as your non-electronic contributions.
Please contact the church office at (406)628-6362 or via email with any questions or to request a mailed Authorization Form.
